The weather forecast for september 17th was very gloomy but we were spared with only one hour of rain throughout the day. The group were good fun and produced a fine piece of walling,leaving their legacy on the landscape for many years to come. One of the group was a voucher recipient ,for his birthday and I hope he enjoyed the day as much as we did sharing it with him along with his fellow students who were excellent.  We very much enjoyed the company of the group . We hope there will be many more such visitors.

The group were a pleasure to work with in every respect and the feedback has been very positive indeed.
The first Skylark of 2012 has been heard on the holding (Feb.15th). Is there a sweeter sound?
